Patty Burke, an experienced C-level executive who has served in operational roles with large corporations and startups and as a consultant to venture capital firms, corporate venture and innovation groups and technology startups, and Andy Billings, Head of Profitable Creativity for Electronic Arts, will teach you how to ignite and design your leadership purpose. As always, Sara King, from the Center for Creative Leadership, will serve as facilitator.

This year's BMGI program will introduce you to the concept of design thinking: a methodology that draws on logic, imagination, inspiration and reflection to decipher complex problems and find desired solutions. Design thinking encourages you to explore the possibilities of what could be and to create desired outcomes for a purpose-driven future. Through hands-on practice you will learn to apply design thinking to ignite and positively affect your teams and your company.

Plan to arrive on the evening of Wednesday, November 29 for a welcome reception at 6:00pm. The program begins Thursday morning, November 30, and concludes by 12:30pm on Friday, December 1.

Take a look at what attendees have to say about past BMGI programs:

  • "So many takeaways, both professionally and personally."
  • "I have the same spark and warm feelings I had from my 1st time with BMLI. This was worth the money and time and I look forward to this again next year. Thank you for helping me push the 'reset' button."
  • "The session is a good recharge and a good reminder of leadership concepts I can always benefit from hearing again."
